She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and the Missouri Speech-Language Hearing Association. She has been working in private practice as an advocate in mid-Missouri for special education for 3 years now and is a member of the Council for Parent Advocates and Attorneys. Dr. Wakefield works with children and families to develop home-school programs, partial day programs, and homebound programs. She provides tutoring for students with special needs who require different approaches to academic remediation than typical tutoring methods. Call today and schedule a consultation time.
